Vampire Crawlers off to a strong start as it earns “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating on Steam with 4,600+ reviews

The first-ever spin-off of Vampire Survivors, titled Vampire Crawlers, launched just two days ago, and it is off to a great start. The game takes the fast-paced, chaotic gameplay of the original and mixes it with a deckbuilding system, creating something that feels fresh while still familiar. And so far, players are loving it.
Over on Steam, in just two days, the game has received more than 4,600 user reviews across all languages. What makes this even more impressive is that 98% of those reviews are positive. Because of this, the game has already earned an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating, which is one of the highest ratings a game can achieve on the platform.
The player count is also looking strong. On launch day, the game managed to reach a peak of around 20,000 concurrent players, and the numbers have continued to grow since then. In fact, today, the game hit a new peak of 40,802 players. For comparison, Vampire Survivors had an all-time high peak of 77,061 players around 4.2 years ago.
As for what the game actually offers, Vampire Crawlers focuses on turn-based combat mixed with roguelite elements. Players build powerful decks, explore dungeon-like areas, and create huge combos by chaining cards together. As you progress, you unlock new cards, power-ups, and abilities, while exploring different areas filled with enemies and hidden rewards.
