Ultrahuman has launched a new model, the Ring Air. Compared to its predecessor, the R1, the Air is lighter and thinner, with the same health tracking features. Plus, you can trade in an older smart ring, including the competitor Oura Ring wearable, for up to US$100 off your purchase.

The Ultrahuman Ring Air is now available. The latest smart wearable from the brand follows the R1, launched last year. Compared to the older version, the Air is both thinner and lighter. The smallest size of the new model weighs 2.4 g (~0.08 oz), whereas the R1 weighs around 4.0g (~0.14 oz).

The Air is also 2.4 mm (~0.09-in) thick, slimmer than its 2.8 mm (~0.11-in) thick predecessor. For context, the Oura ring weighs 4 to 6 g (~0.14 to 0.21 oz) and is 2.55 mm (~0.10-in) thick, and the RingConn wearable weighs 3 to 5 g (~0.11 to 0.18 oz) and is 2.60 mm (~0.10-in) thick. It is also worth noting that Ultrahuman is allowing customers to trade in an alternative model, including the Oura Ring, for up to US$100 off their purchase of the Air smart ring.

You can use the smart Ultrahuman Air wearable to track your sleep quality, and a built-in skin temperature sensor can detect possible illnesses. The Movement Index tool helps you optimize your glucose metabolism and improve your recovery through HRV insights. Plus, the gadget can last up to six days on a single charge, fully recharging in around 90 minutes. You can now buy the Ultrahuman Ring Air for the Early Bird Price of US$299. This offer is valid for the first 1,000 orders; the price after this point is unclear.
