Ugreen launches indoor and outdoor smart cameras powered by local AI hubs

Ugreen has made its debut in the AIoT market, and initially, the lineup consists of a relatively complete set of products. Among them, there's one smart speaker and a color e-paper picture frame, which we have covered separately.
In addition to these, there are three smart cameras, all of which are backed by the HomeAgent HA100 and HA100 Pro. At the core, these are local AI hubs, bringing local AI features to the compatible devices.
For the smart cameras, Ugreen says these local AI hubs bring local image and video processing, accurate object detection, better motion tracking, and AI-powered event summary and keyword search.
As for the cameras themselves, the SynCare Cam ID500 Pro is an indoor smart camera featuring an 8MP sensor. Ugreen notes that it's capable of 4K captures and 8x digital zoom. With WiFi 6, it aims to deliver stable wireless streaming and reliable remote monitoring. It has a baby crying detection and can alert users when anything important is detected.
The SynCare PoE Cam OD600 Pro is one of the two outdoor cameras. It runs on both DC power and PoE, and the IP66 waterproof design should make it good for not-so-ideal outdoor installation locations. There are dual 5MP PTZ cameras with 9x hybrid zoom, while the 8MP bullet camera is said to offer detail-rich 4K captures.
Other than that, the Cam OD600 Pro has full-color night vision, and it can trigger sirens and flash lights when it detects a security breach. The Battery Cam OD800 Pro is essentially an upgraded variant, with a detachable 10,000mAh battery and a 6W solar panel for a proper wire-free installation (eufy Security eufyCam C37 wth solar panel curr. $69.98 on Amazon). In the right conditions, it won't require manual charging.

As for the cameras, the Syncare ID500 Pro has a pre-order price of $89, while the SynCare OD600 Pro costs $159, and the battery-equipped OD800 Pro is going for $199 during the pre-order phase.
