Ugreen intros new NAS systems with up to 96 GB DDR5 RAM and 272 TB storage

Ugreen has announced two new NAS systems at IFA 2026. While not exactly brand new, the two new products expand Ugreen's lineup of well-equipped network-attached storage solutions.

To be specific, the two new NAS systems happen to be the NASync DXP6800 Ultra and the DXP8800 Ultra. As the name suggests, the products expand the DXP6800 and DXP8800 lineups, respectively.

Ugreen's DXP6800 and DXP8800 get processor bumps

The DXP6800 Ultra is powered by a relatively modern Intel Core 5 120U processor paired with 8 GB of RAM and sports a total of six drive bays and dual M.2 NVMe slots, which can accommodate up to a maximum 208 TB of storage. 

The DXP8800 Ultra, on the other hand, is powered by a more powerful Core 7 150U processor, featuring eight drive bays and dual M.2 NVMe slots with a maximum 272 TB of storage capacity. This variant also comes equipped with 8 GB of DDR5 RAM. 

Both the DXP6800 Ultra and DXP8800 Ultra feature expandable RAM up to an impressive 96 GB. 

For comparison, the current-gen DXP6800 Pro and DXP8800 Plus NAS systems are powered by a Core i5-1235U CPU. In terms of raw performance, the Core 5 120U and Core 7 150U should be roughly 4% and 16% faster in multi-threaded synthetic benchmarks.

Both Ugreen NASync products are already available for purchase from Amazon, starting at $1,450 for the 6-bay DXP6800 Ultra and $1,780 for the 8-bay DXP8800 Ultra.
