Ugreen NAS with 10Gbps and up to 136TB gets launch discount

Ugreen officially unveiled the DXP4800 Pro NAS some time ago. Now the NAS is finally available for $779 directly from Ugreen, but an $80 discount drops that price to a more reasonable $699. The device is designed for demanding enthusiasts or even professional users. As usual, there are no hard drives included, so the total cost can quickly add up to well over $1,000. In any case, the DDR5-5600 memory can be expanded up to 96GB, but the DXP4800 Pro only ships with 8GB RAM. The NAS is powered by an Intel Core i3-1315U.
There are four bays for traditional hard drives plus two M.2 slots. These can be useful for storing frequently accessed data. Fast SSDs may not reach their full potential, but the actual performance can be significantly higher because one of the two Ethernet ports has a bandwidth of 10Gbps. The second port maxes out at 2.5Gbps. In most cases, users will need to add a compatible network card, since very few PCs come with Ethernet that’s faster than 2.5Gbps.
The Ugreen DXP4800 Pro NAS measures 10.1 x 7.0 x 7.0 inches and offers an SD card reader and two USB ports on the front, one of them USB-C. The two USB ports on the back are USB 2.0. Last but not least, there is an HDMI output and the DXP4800 Pro can run Docker containers and virtual machines.
