Ugreen Gallery debuts at IFA 2026: 13.3" Color E Ink digital picture frame

The Ugreen Gallery 13.3-inch digital picture frame has debuted at IFA 2026 in Berlin. The picture frame utilizes an E Ink display for power-free display of static images. The IoT Gallery integrates with Ugreen's other smartphone offerings and can automatically rotate family photos stored on a Ugreen NAS.

The Gallery uses a 1,600 x 1,200-pixel, 150 DPI E Ink Spectra 6 display (also used in the reviewed Switchbot AI Art Frame), which uses colored magnetic spheres that can move and rotate to create shades of color. After a photo is displayed on an E Ink panel, no further electricity is needed to maintain the image, unlike an LCD or OLED display. This results in a significant reduction in power consumption for smarthomes that use digital picture frames.

The picture frame can show JPG, JPEG, PNG, HEIF, HEIC, WebP, and BMP photos sent from a smartphone, pulled off a networked Ugreen NAS, or stored on a microSD card up to 512 GB in size. It can also display classic artworks from a curated gallery of free art. Photos can be scheduled to display for special anniversaries or slideshowed. 

The Ugreen Gallery picture frame can be mounted on the wall or placed on a desk anywhere in a home thanks to a 10,000 mAh battery and Wi-Fi/Bluetooth wireless connectivity. The company rates the battery for up to 6 months of usage between charges. It can be quick charged using a 20-watt USB-C power supply. It measures 413 × 313 × 25 mm (16.3 x 12.3 x 0.98 in.) and comes with a desk stand.
