Two new Sonoff AirGuard smart air quality sensors with Matter rolling out

Sonoff is rolling out two new AirGuard smart air quality sensors worldwide. Both the Sonoff AirGuard PM2.5/PM10 and the Sonoff AirGuard CO2 support Matter over Wi-Fi, meaning they will integrate with a wide range of smart home ecosystems such as Apple Home and Home Assistant.
The Sonoff AirGuard PM2.5/PM10 Air Quality Monitor is a 4-in-1 device, monitoring PM2.5 levels, PM10 levels, temperature and humidity. Its sensor is said to detect PM2.5/PM10 particles created by pollution with ±50 µg/m3 ±10% accuracy. The Sonoff AirGuard CO2 Air Quality Monitor is described as a 3-in-1 gadget, tracking CO2 levels alongside the temperature and humidity. This model has a built-in NDIR sensor, delivering CO2 readings with ±50 ppm ±5% accuracy.
Both new Sonoff AirGuard devices have a 3.73-inch display, showing collected data in real time. Users can get three types of alerts for air quality changes: a sound, an indicator light and app notifications. Through the brand's app, you can find advice on how to improve your air quality. Plus, up to one year's worth of data is stored here and available for export. These smart sensors support 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and will operate in temperatures from -10 to 50°C (14 to 122°F) and humidity levels from 5 to 95% RH. The white frame has an integrated stand and measures 70 x 103 x 26 mm (~2.76 x 4.06 x 1.02 inches).
At the brand's online store and Amazon storefront, you can buy the Sonoff AirGuard PM2.5/PM10 Air Quality Monitor for $39.90/£36.10/€40.70. The Sonoff AirGuard CO2 Air Quality Monitor is slightly more expensive at $49.90/£45.15/€50.90.
