Twelve South HiRise 3 Wireless Charging Stand launches with 10 W MagSafe charger
Twelve South has released the HiRise 3 Wireless Charging Stand. You can use the device to charge your iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods simultaneously. The company suggests that the gadget can declutter your nightstand by combining three charging cables into one device.
Your iPhone attaches to the stand via MagSafe; your smartphone is held upright, enabling you to easily view notifications and use the phone without detaching it from the gadget. The front pad, which allows 10 W charging, measures 92 x 63 mm (~3.6 x 2.5-in); this makes it 82% larger than a 55-mm (~2.2-in) puck charger, which Twelve South claims increases the gadget's stability. The Apple Watch rests on the back of the raised platform with 3 W charging, while AirPods can charge on the base of the stand at 5 W.
Alternatively, you can use the base to wirelessly charge a second phone, including non-MagSafe iPhones or non-Apple devices. For example, an iPhone 13 Pro, an Apple Watch Series 7 and AirPods Pro would fully charge in around 150 minutes. The wireless charger comes with a 5 ft (1.5 m) 20 W USB-C power cable, and the gadget measures 6.5 x 4.8 x 3.4-in (16.5 x 12.3 x 8.5 cm).
