Trump Mobile, the carrier licensing the president’s name, has shared a new image of the T1 phone, though the picture looks more like a rushed Photoshop job than a final product. The company posted the photo on X on Tuesday with the caption, “the wait is almost over!” The updated image shows a switch from the previously advertised three-camera system to a four or possibly five-camera setup. The device also appears slightly wider than the model the company displayed back in June.
Despite the social media promotion, the Trump Mobile website still features the older design and has not been updated to match the latest image. What stands out most is how similar the T1 looks to Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Ultra, which uses the same type of camera arrangement. The resemblance is so close that the T1 looks like a Galaxy S25 Ultra case from Spigen, and when you zoom in on the render, you can see the Spigen logo faintly printed near the bottom.
The company has already faced skepticism since first claiming the T1 would be “Proudly Made in America,” something no smartphone maker has managed to do entirely. Trump has publicly pressed Apple to bring iPhone production to the United States, but the reality is that global supply chains in Asia dominate electronics manufacturing. After questions about its claim, Trump Mobile quietly shifted the language on its website to say the device will be “brought to life right here in the USA” with the help of “American hands.”
The phone is listed as having a 6.25-inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, a 50-megapixel main camera supported by a 2-megapixel macro and 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 16-megapixel front camera. It is said to come with 12 GB of RAM, 256 GB of expandable storage, a 5,000 mAh battery with 20 W charging, and Android 15 software. Trump Mobile also notes the inclusion of a headphone jack, a fingerprint scanner, and face unlock.
Originally, the company said the T1 would be released this month, although its website also pointed to a September launch. Those details have since been removed. Past promotional images have even shown what looks like an iPhone 16 Pro covered in a gold case with the Trump name stamped on it, adding to doubts about what the final T1 will really look like when it arrives.
