Toshiba announces new Qosmio X70-B and Satellite P70-B notebooks
Back in December 2014, Toshiba unveiled several new notebooks as part of its 17.3-inch Qosmio X70-B and Satellite P70-B series. Today the Japanese manufacturer made the two laptop series even more populated, by unveiling new high-end variants suitable for multimedia and gaming. The new models are the Qosmio X70-B-10T, Satellite P70-B-10U and Satellite P70-B-10T.
These large notebooks are each equipped with an Intel Core i7-4720HQ quad-core processor from the Haswell generation, an AMD Radeon R9 M265X GPU, a 17.3-inch fullHD (1920 by 1080 pixels) display, and a pair of DTS stereo speakers from Harman / Kardon. The laptops also come with HDMI outputs which are able to stream Ultra-HD content to compatible TV sets. The new Toshiba notebooks run the 64-bit version of Windows 8.1.
Toshiba claims that, thanks to the AMD Endure power management technology that automatically switches between the dedicated GPU and the integrated Intel HD Graphics 4600, these new laptops have a battery life of nearly 5 hours. The Satellite P70-B-10U and the Satellite P70-B-10T come with 2TB hard drives, while the Qosmio X70-B-10T comes with a 1TB SSHD (Solid State Hybrid Drive) with 8GB of flash memory.
The Toshiba Satellite P70-B-10T will be priced at 1349 Euro, the Satellite P70-B-10U will cost 1099Euro, while the Toshiba Qosmio X70-B-10T costs 1449Euro.
