Toshiba today announced an update to their Qosmio X75 series, adding NVIDIA graphics and an updated CPU to the gaming behemoth. The 17.3" laptop now comes with a Core i7 model of Intel's 4th generation Haswell CPUs and will be available before the end of the month.
Coming in at just 7.3 pounds, the X75's TruBrite display features a full-HD resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and Intel WiDi technology. Storage includes either a 1TB hybrid drive or a 1.5TB standard drive, an optional second drive and 16GB of RAM. Of course, NVIDIA's second-most powerful mobile GPU highlights the specs, as the GeForce GTX 770M comes with 3GB of DDR5 RAM and Optimus technology.
Other gaming goodies that come with the laptop include a Blu-Ray burner, Harmon Kardon speakers and UltraHD output via HDMI. Toshiba is bundling the laptop with a few pieces of software, including Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements 11 as well as $50 in credits for the online-multiplayer Hawken game. The laptop should be available on the 29th of this month, with a suggested starting retail price of $1,400.
