Building settlements on mountainsides—that's what Laysara: Summit Kingdom is all about. But even though it may seem simple, you'll have to face various dangers, set up transportation networks and establish trade routes in harsh environments.

Laysara: Summit Kingdom is a city builder developed by Quite OK Games and fully released on Steam on February 27, 2026. In this game, the action takes place on mountainsides, and your people have been driven from the plains.

Thus, you must help them rebuild the kingdom of Laysara. But each mountain presents its own challenges: different shapes, biomes, resources, and weather conditions. Depending on the mountain, you can farm the land or extract minerals.

Your cities can be connected through a trading network, and as you gather resources, you’ll be able to expand your settlements. However, many challenges await you, as you’ll have to meet the needs of a growing population and optimize your transportation network.

The greatest danger is none other than an avalanche. If one occurs, it can undo all your efforts. Therefore, to protect your cities, you can trigger avalanches early or create natural barriers.

Laysara: Summit Kingdom features a 15-mission campaign and a sandbox mode, with no combat in either. Its graphics and gameplay mechanics are praised. In addition, some players find the game balanced and addictive. As a result, 81% of its 1,502 reviews on Steam are positive.

However, it's a complex game, and the tutorial seems unclear. The user interface has been criticized, and the game can feel repetitive and linear. As for its price, it is currently available for $12.49 thanks to a 50% discount. According to SteamDB, it will return to $24.99 on November 15, 2026.
