Deal | Set in Ancient Rome, this city builder loved by 83% of players is 50% off on Steam

Citadelum is a game developed by Abylight Barcelona in which you must build and expand your city. According to SteamDB, it is currently available for $12.49 instead of $24.99 until November 12, 2026.

In this game, you'll have to gather resources, build structures and upgrade them. As your town grows, you'll be able to welcome more citizens and assign them to different jobs: artisans, carpenters, and farmers. However, you'll also need more resources to meet their needs and provide access to water through aqueducts.

Citadelum also features combat. You can explore the map, liberate villages with your army, and complete missions assigned by the Senate. By doing so, you can establish trade routes to obtain valuable resources.

The gods of the Pantheon also play a major role, and you'll need to earn their favor by building temples and making offerings. But if you favor one god, you may incur the wrath of another, who could then attack your city.

On Steam, players have left 1,100 reviews, 83% of which are positive. While many players compare it to Caesar, it is loved for its building mechanics and graphics. Other features, such as logistics and army recruitment, are also appreciated.

On the other hand, however, some players have pointed out a lack of balance, and numerous bugs have been reported. In addition, the gameplay can feel repetitive. Finally, its lowest price was $9.74 on March 18, 2026, when it was 61% off.
