Deal | Overwhelmingly Positive Steam game goes free for a limited time

Steam users can currently grab another highly rated game without spending a penny. Hexologic, a Sudoku-inspired puzzle game developed by MythicOwl, is being given away by the developers. Originally released in May 2018, it takes the familiar principles of Sudoku and applies them to hexagonal grids. Players must arrange dots inside hexagons so their sums match the values displayed along three different axes.
Hexologic has over 90 handcrafted levels spread across six distinct worlds, each introducing new puzzle mechanics. It also offers an atmospheric soundtrack, colourful visuals and a relatively gentle learning curve. Additional features include an infinite puzzle mode, Steam Workshop support and a level editor for creating custom challenges.
Despite being nearly eight years old, Hexologic maintains an Overwhelmingly Positive rating on Steam, with 96% of its roughly 690 user reviews being favourable. It is also officially Steam Deck Verified, making it suitable for handheld gaming without requiring additional configuration. Native Windows and Linux versions are available.
According to SteamDB, the giveaway began on October 29 and will conclude on October 31 at 17:00 UTC. Unlike a free weekend, this promotion allows players to keep the game permanently. Interested players can visit the official Steam store page and select “Add to Account” before the deadline. No subscription or additional purchase is required.
