The Xiaomi Mi A2 has received its monthly update, this time called V11.0.15.0.QDIMIXM. The new update brings the October 2020 set of security patches to the Android One handset, along with a few bug fixes. V11.0.15.0.QDIMIXM is rolling out now as an OTA.

It has only been a few weeks since Xiaomi released V11.0.14.0.QDIMIXM for the Mi A2, but the company has already moved onto a new build for the device. Unsurprisingly, Xiaomi has called the new build V11.0.15.0.QDIMIXM - so we will probably see the arrival of V11.0.16.0.QDIMIXM next month.

Similarly, V11.0.15.0.QDIMIXM packs the October set of security patches, upgrading the Mi A2 from the September set that it has been running for the last few weeks. The update also includes 'Optimized system performance' and claims to improve system stability. Whether this is true remains to be seen though, considering the buggy builds that Xiaomi has rolled out to the Mi A2 earlier this year.

V11.0.15.0.QDIMIXM should be arriving on devices now as an over-the-air (OTA) upgrade. Alternatively, you could download the recovery or fastboot files, should you wish to give your Mi A2 a fresh start. The files, hosted on Xiaomi's servers, can be downloaded via the links below.
