The official Tomb Raider X account seems to leave some clues about a future remaster. And that’s not all, because according to some information, this project could concern The Tomb Raider Trilogy.
In recent years, several remasters of this license have been released, such as Tomb Raider I-III Remastered and Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered. But three games that are very popular among gamers still haven't had the chance to be remastered, and that's the case of Tomb Raider: Legend, released in 2006, Tomb Raider: Anniversary, released in 2007, and Tomb Raider: Underworld, which was unveiled to the public in 2008.
Regarding a potential remaster of these three games, it should be noted that the official Tomb Raider X account recently posted messages related to them. Indeed, on its news feed, there is a post highlighting Lara Croft's evolution between Legend and Underworld, noting that her transformation earned her a Guinness World Record in 2010 for the “Most Detailed Video Game Character.”
And that's not all, because fans have also noticed that some loading screens inspired by this trilogy have appeared in Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered. Finally, as Jasonvsfreddyvs points out on Reddit, a tweet has been posted about the upcoming Tomb Raider: Underworld figurine, which fuels hopes for a remastering of these three games.
Going further and taking into account the release dates of the last two remasters, some fans believe that this project could be released in early 2026. However, these are only rumors, and it is best to remain cautious in the absence of any official announcements from Crystal Dynamics. And this, although information may arise in the coming weeks and months.
