Sony launched the Xperia XA2, XA2 Ultra, and L2 at CES last month. The company could be set to continue that prolific form, as a tweet by Three Ireland has touted the Xperia XZ2 to be "coming soon".
The Japanese electronics giant are billed to release the Xperia XZ Pro at MWC later this month. That device is meant to be a successor of sorts to the Xperia X Performance that was released way back in mid-2016. Reports a while ago claimed we could be getting multiple devices from the company this month, however, and there's a chance the XZ2 could be announced alongside the XZ Pro.
While the tweet says it will be coming soon, we don't actually expect an MWC launch. Both the first-gen Xperia XZ and the succeeding Xperia XZ1 were launched at IFA, in early September. It, therefore, would make just about no sense for the XZ2 to be launched now, just six months after the XZ1. It's more likely that the tweet was a vague reply.
