Asus' new and eye-catching notebook the ROG Zephyrus G14 is currently listed as an AMD Ryzen 7 4800HS-powered PC on its website. However, there are hints that Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 9 alternatives are also on the way. This may have been given even further weight through new retail listings on the part of the Swedish retailer Elgiganten.
Its website now lists what looks like the cheaper end of the Zephyrus G14 spectrum as a product. Oddly, this page gives the notebook's APU as the Ryzen 5 4600H, whereas the PC has only been linked to the 5 4600HS thus far. Eliminating the possibility of this being a typo or omission of some kind is hampered through the lack of a model number anywhere on this page.
This SKU also has 16GB of RAM, a 512GB SSD and 4GB of GTX 1650 Ti graphics, which would put it on par with the Ryzen 5 4600HS-based model described in an earlier leak from a Danish e-tailer (the links for which are now mysteriously dead).
It is priced at 14999 Swedish krona (SEK, or ~US$1447). This G14 variant is joined on the site by the a new addition to the TUF Gaming series that has also been the subject of some seller-generated rumors.
This is the FA506, a 15.6-inch model with an FHD display that has a 144Hz refresh rate. In this case, there are 2 SKUs of this machine available. One has the same specs as the G14, whereas the other appears to offer the Ryzen 7 4800H processor, as well as 6GB's worth of RTX 2060 graphics.
It is priced the same as the aforementioned new ROG Zephyrus-series PC on Elgiganten, whereas the less powerful FA506 is 11499 SEK (~$1110). All 3 putative new products can be ordered now, although they will not ship until June 2020.
