Fans of the Life is Strange franchise will be delighted to hear that five games from the series will be available as a collection. And that's not all, because Square Enix has already announced a release date, and the product is available for pre-order starting today.
This is pretty good news for all fans of the franchise, especially considering that the latest game, Life is Strange: Double Exposure, wasn't a big hit with gamers, scoring 4.4 on Metacritic. As a result, the studio has decided to launch a new product, none other than the Life is Strange Collection.
Of course, this is nothing new in the world of video games, as many studios have already launched similar offers in the past, allowing them to bundle their most popular titles while improving their graphics and gameplay. But this is a first for Life is Strange.
So, regarding the list of games available in this collection, you will find Life is Strange and Life is Strange: Before the Storm. But also Life is Strange 2, Life is Strange: True Colors, and Life is Strange: Double Exposure. But beware, because for the biggest collectors, there may be a disappointment.
Indeed, only the last two titles will be available on CD. To access the other three, you will need to enter a download code. It's also worth noting that you will be able to enjoy all the DLC, as is the case with Life is Strange: Double Exposure, where you will have access to Max Caulfield's alternative outfits and a quest revolving around a lost cat.
This collection will be available in stores on PS5 on October 2, 2025, but you can pre-order it for $59.99 on the Square Enix website. So, as you can see, if you're an Xbox player, you won't be able to enjoy this collection. The same goes for Nintendo Switch players.
