The Black Shark 3s are Snapdragon 865-powered gaming phones that have smashed AnTuTu records and the normal bounds of mobile-device touch-sampling rates on their way to launch. This may make them popular among Android fans in China, where the vanilla 3 is currently on sale.
Its Pro counterpart was meant to join it on March 17, 2020. However, Xiaomi has just released a message to fans of its sub-brand, advising them that its first open sale has been pushed back until March 27. The OEM cites supply issues in making this decision.
Some prospective buyers may be disappointed that they must now wait longer for this variant, particularly as it is the one with a 7.1-inch display. This screen-size range is also one of the Huawei Mate 20 X's best features, although it is QHD+ in the newer Black Shark.
However, Xiaomi also notes that those who have already pre-ordered this device should still receive it in the time-frame given them during check-out. Then again, March 27 is shaping up to be a busy day for the OEM: its Mi 10 international launch is also set for this date.
