The Avita Liber V is now available for purchase in India for INR 41,490 (US$554). It comes with an Intel Core i5-10210U CPU, UHD Graphics 620 iGPU, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB or 512GB of solid-state storage. The notebook is available for purchase on all major e-commerce websites like Flipkart and Amazon.

Avita has released a new affordable laptop in India. The Avita Liber V's launch comes just a day after Honor unveiled the Honor Magicbook in the country. Both notebooks are similarly-priced and offer more or less the same feature set. The Avita Liber V will retail for INR 41,490 (US$554) and will be available for purchase on Flipkart and Amazon.

One of the first things that stand out about Avita Liber V is its design. The screen looks like an inverted version of a notched smartphone display, with the 1MP webcam protruding above the top edge of the notebook. The actual screen itself is a 14-inch IPS panel with FHD resolution. Another interesting design choice is the laptop's fingerprint scanner cum power button placement. Most OEMs place it on the right of the keyboard, unlike Avita, who has positioned it on the left.

The Avita Liber V comes with a 10th-generation Intel Core i5-10210U Comet Lake processor. Although Avita's website lists the Core i7-10510U, AMD Ryzen 5 3500U, and Ryzen 7 3700U as potential options, those models are not available at the moment. Unfortunately, there is no option to add a dedicated graphics card, and one has to make do with the laptop's Intel UHD Graphics 620 iGPU. The notebook's memory capacity caps out at 8GB of RAM. On the other hand, one can pick between a 256GB and 512GB NVMe SSD for storage.

Considering that the Avita Liber V is a budget laptop, it's lack of input options doesn't come as much surprise. You get 1xUSB 3.0 port, 1xUSB 2.0 port, 1xUSB Type-C port, and 1xMicro HDMI port. The USB Type-C port can also be used to charge the laptop and output video signal to a compatible monitor. The notebook comes with a traditional barrel-type charging port too. Its 37Wh battery can provide up to ten hours of backup.
