It has been quite some time since we first reported about the Tesla Cybertruck, with the EV appearing on stage and having its unbreakable windows broken in quick fashion. That was back in 2019, and clearly Tesla’s engineers and designers have been hard at work making sure the company has another hit EV to sell to its adoring fans once the Cybertruck finally makes it to market (likely some point in 2024).
Recent live appearances of the Tesla Cybertruck have now surfaced, and it certainly looks the part of a next-generation electric light-duty truck. It’s hard to miss with its famous angular design, and there have been some changes, with the side-view mirrors taking on a triangular shape to match the Cybertruck itself. The rear brake lights appear to be subdued though, with the left and right corners lighting up rather than the whole bar.
Unsurprisingly, there has been a mixed response to the latest in-the-wild sighting of the Tesla Cybertruck, with some loving the appearance of the edgy monster and others ridiculing its design. The Cybertruck is expected to offer an electric range limit of 500 miles, with the original price estimates ranging from US$39,900 up to US$69,900 for the different motor models. By the time the EV truck is fully launched, probably in 2024, those prices will undoubtedly seem like a distant dream.
