Tecno Pova 3 is officially coming to India, 7,000mAh battery, 50MP main camera and all

The Tecno Pova 3 is rated to stay on for up to 53 days if necessary - although this applies to a standby mode. Then again, at 7,000mAh in typical capacity, it might stand to keep its 6.9-inch FHD+ display on for longer than the average Android device. The screen also benefits from a faster-than-standard refresh rate - not to mention a minimal forehead rather than a punch-hole or notch; then again, it is also LCD.

The panel is driven by a Helio G88 chipset, which also powers an Android 11 skin called HiOS. Tecno asserts that these specs are good enough to sustain a Pova 3 user's gaming needs, which are also apparently enhanced with dual stereo speakers and 4D "Z-Axis" (not X-axis?) linear haptics.

The OEM also claims that the Pova 3 can be configured to support 11GB of RAM - although this is a software-based augmentation for 6GB by default, called "Memory Fusion" in this instance. Tecno also claims that "surreal" image quality is possible thanks to the 3's 50MP main camera. Finally, the Pova 3 is slated to ship with a 33W "Flash" charger in the box.

Accordingly, all this might represent a compelling package for an Amazon.in customer who does not care much for 5G soon - at the right price, of course. Tecno has yet to reveal how much the Pova 3 will cost via its new channel; for context, the 6/128GB SKU shown in its new teaser originally debuted for 9,399 Filipino pesos (~US$178, or ~INR 13,800) earlier in 2022.

Coincidentally, a Redmi 10 Prime (2021) of similar specs goes for INR 13,999 today.
