Download links for a Spotify app for iOS have appeared on its community website. In addition, a Redditor also claims that there is also a WatchOS variant of the same in beta. However, the app is still in beta and does not much more beside the control of playback using the streaming service.

Spotify seems to be improving its focus on support for wearables these days. It had recently updated its Android Wear app with much more functionality and usability. Now, the Spotify Community Forum is offering the chance to download and run the Apple counterpart of this app as a beta tester.

A Reddit user has claimed to have found support for Spotify on WatchOS following a Testflight update. Interested users will need to apply for an invite to join the beta program for Spotify on iOS. Therefore, Apple fans on Spotify may finally be able to operate the app from their wrists. On the other hand, the app is said not to do much besides offer playback controls for Spotify.

Furthermore, Apple may not be happy with the emergence of third-party music control on its Watch, as it may compete with Apple Music for this pursuit. However, it remains the millions of Spotify users who may also use iOS should be able to control their service from the world's most popular platforms.
