Sony's free PlayStation Plus games for October 2021 have been leaked
The last days of the month of September are approaching, which means that PlayStation gamers are usually excited to hear about the free games which Sony is going to offer PS Plus subscribers in October 2021. Since Sony takes its time and often announces the free titles on short notice, there sometimes are leaks which unveil the games prior to the official reveal. This is exactly what has happened this month.
According to a post in a French forum that correctly predicted last month's PS Plus games, Sony will have three interesting titles in its PlayStation Plus lineup for October. First of all, the popular brawler Mortal Kombat X will be free for all PS Plus subscribers. With its brutal finisher moves, the game is arguably only appropriate for adult players. The game will be available on both the PlayStation 4 and PS5. In addition to that, the golfing game PGA Tour 2k21 will also be free for subscribers and owners of either Sony console.
Last but not least, PlayStation 5 owners with an active PS Plus subscription (from US$9 on Amazon) will be able to download the multiplayer shooter Hell Let Loose for free. The game was developed by the Australian studio Black Matter and has just been released a couple of weeks ago for the PC. Overall, Sony appears to offer a pretty decent mix of free PS Plus games for October. The games should be free to play starting October 5. However, since this is an unofficial leak, all this info should be taken with a grain of salt.
