The Sony Bravia XR X93L is now on sale at a new all-time low price of less than $1,200. The 75-inch Mini LED TV was first launched in 2023 with a 4K/120 Hz panel that is both impressively bright and colorful. As a result, the Sony X93L is highly rated and is perfectly suitable for mid-range buyers.

Sony launched the Bravia XR X93L 4K TV in 2023 to pretty good reviews. For instance, Rtings rates the TV at an excellent 8.5 for “Mixed Usage” with scores of 8.8 and 8.5 for “Video Games” and “HDR Movies”, respectively.

So, the Sony X93L is a jack-of-all-trades Mini LED TV that excels at both media consumption and gaming. It has now dropped down to an all-time low price of just $1,198 for the 75-inch variant at Walmart, making it a solid choice for mid-range buyers who want something good but affordable (linked at the end).

Putting Walmart’s Sony XR75X93L promotion into perspective, Amazon is currently selling the same model for $1,673.63.

Sony X93L delivers excellent brightness and lively colors

The Sony Bravia X93L gets a lot right, thanks to the Mini LED backlight and Sony’s image processing. Rtings’ review shows that the X93L boasts an amazing contrast of 73,818:1 with Local Dimming enabled while managing a Peak 2% Window HDR and SDR brightness of 1,077 and 1,239 nits, respectively. The TV also tracks the PQ EOTF curve superbly to deliver an HDR experience that stays true to the source signal.

Moreover, Sony has done a good job with the color performance of the X93L, as the TV covers more than 95% of the DCI-P3 color spectrum. Out-of-the-box calibration of the X93L is also pretty good but can be improved further, as shown by Rtings.

Sadly, the VA panel of the Sony X93L suffers from the same bad angles that plague all VA panels. So, folks who want a large TV with perfect viewing angles will be better served by an OLED TV like the LG G4.

Moving on, the Sony X93L is also a solid choice for gamers. The TV features a 120 Hz native refresh rate, support for Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), a quick response time, and low input lag.

All in all, the 75-inch Sony Bravia XR X93L Mini-LED TV on sale is an all-rounder that is both an excellent media consumption display as well as a console/PC gaming monitor.
