Sony WF-1000XM6 rears its head in new leak with full redesign shown

It seems that the Sony WF-1000XM6 could be launching this month after all. Following months of leaks and rumours, Thai retailer Power Buy has now listed Sony's next pair of high-end earbuds in black and silver colours. For reference, leaker Roland Quandt recently indicated that a third colour is waiting in the wings too.
Unfortunately, Power Buy has not shared any WF-1000XM6 hardware specifications. Instead, it has confirmed basic features like active noise cancellation (ANC) and Ambient audio modes. Also, the retailer indicates that the WF-1000XM6 will match the WF-1000XM5 with IPX4 water resistance. Moreover, Power Buy has revealed that the WF-1000X is set to receive a full design refresh for its sixth-generation release.
More pill-shaped than the WF-1000XM5 (curr. $149.99 - refurbished on Amazon), the WF-1000XM6 also feature an updated charging case. By the looks of things, the new charging case is narrower than the one Sony includes with the WF-1000XM5. Its shape seems less ergonomic than the curved design of its predecessor's charging case, though.
Sony has swapped glossy plastic for matte plastic with the WF-1000XM6, too. Seemingly, the WF-1000XM6 also contains an additional microphone array, with three external microphones visible in both colour options. Power Buy has priced the WF-1000XM6 at THB 11,990 (~$379), or THB 11150.70 (~$353) excluding 7% VAT. Currently, the WF-1000XM6 is expected to reach other markets like the Eurozone and the US for €299.99 and $329.99, respectively.
