Skarper’s eBike Drive System is now available to pre-order in the EU via retailer FasterBikes. The e-bike conversion kit was launched in the UK earlier this year, with several sets offered. Each kit includes the Skarper Drive Unit, the DiskDrive Brake Rotor and a pedal sensor.

The Skarper e-bike conversion kit is now available to order in the EU. The product, which allows you to bring electric assistance to your regular bicycle, launched in the UK in June with a pre-order campaign. The company says that it had a “fantastic response” to the gadget so far.

Now, EU customers can buy Skarper products through European e-bike retailer FasterBikes. The system includes the Skarper Drive Unit, a brushless 250W motor with 45Nm torque and a top assistance speed of 25 kph (~16 mph). The integrated 240Wh lithium-ion battery allows you to ride with assistance for up to 50 km (~31 miles) in Eco mode, fully recharging in 2.5 hours. This is accompanied by the DiskDrive Brake Rotor. As its name suggests, the sealed gearbox replaces the disk brake rotor on your bike. Also included in the kit are the Dynamic Climb pedal sensor, the Skarper Charger, chainstay attachment, lock adapter and USB-C cable.

You can pre-order the standard Skarper eBike Drive System for €1,880, or the Skarper eBike Drive System (Two DiskDrives) for €2,314.28. Customers are required to place a 15% deposit of €284.37 or €347.14, respectively, to secure their order. Delivery is estimated for April to July 2025. For comparison, the base model is priced at £1,495 in the UK, with an earlier delivery window of January to February 2025.
