Sharp has unveiled the Aquos QLED 4K Ultra HD Smart Xumo TVs in 50, 55, 65, 75, and 85-inch sizes.
The Sharp TVs provide viewers with access to over 2,000 free ad-supported streaming television channels, 350 premium streaming channels, and 70,000 titles on demand through Xumo Play, along with over 250 premium streaming apps, including Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Spotify, HBO Max, and Hulu.
Users can search for media across all apps at once using the remote control, which supports voice control. Xumo is owned by Comcast and Charter Communications, the two largest cable TV operators in America.
The Aquos televisions use deep chroma quantum dots in the 60 Hz LED panels to replicate over a billion colors, according to Sharp. The panels support Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG high-dynamic-range video, but maximum brightness and contrast ratios are not stated. All come with 30-watt stereo speakers that support Dolby Atmos surround sound.
The Smart Xumo TVs have three HDMI ports, two USB 2.0 ports, a headphone jack, and an optical S/PDIF output. They incorporate Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1 wireless connectivity for smartphone screen mirroring and smart home integration with Apple AirPlay, Apple Home, and Alexa.
The Sharp Xumo TVs are available immediately for an MSRP between $349.99 and $1,099.99 at select retailers across America. Readers can look for them at the Sharp store on Amazon.
