Despite having a smaller display than the Apple iPhone 17, the newly introduced Sharp Aquos sense10 is still roughly the same size due to its wider bezel. It is also slightly thicker at 8.9 mm (0.35 in) but weighs considerably less at 166 g (5.86 oz).
One of the phone’s standout features is its 6.1-inch display, which uses Sharp’s Pro IGZO OLED panel with a resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 pixels and a peak brightness of 2,000 nits. The screen supports a variable refresh rate from 1 to 240 Hz, making it even faster than the displays found on high-end gaming flagships like the RedMagic 11 Pro. The Aquos sense10’s colourful chassis boasts IP68 certification for water resistance. Despite the phone’s compact design, Sharp managed to include a 5,000 mAh battery capable of 36-watt USB-C charging.
In addition to a 32 MP f/2.2 front-facing camera, the Aquos sense10 features a 50 MP f/1.9 main shooter with a 1/1.55-inch sensor, as well as a 50 MP f/2.2 ultrawide camera with a 1/2.5-inch sensor. The cameras support a range of AI features, such as automatic removal of unwanted reflections and shadows.
Sharp opted for a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, which sports four Cortex-A720 performance cores and four Cortex-A520 efficiency cores. For Bluetooth audio, the phone supports both Qualcomm aptX Adaptive and Sony’s LDAC. Set to ship with Android 16, it is guaranteed to receive three major Android updates and five years of security patches.
Price and availability
In Japan, the Sharp Aquos sense10 is priced at ¥62,700 (about $410) for the base configuration with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. There is also an 8/256 GB model retailing for ¥69,300 (about $450). Since Sharp Aquos phones aren't typically released in the US or Europe, consumers in these regions may have to rely on direct import to purchase a unit.
