Sharge ICEMAG 2 upgrades to Qi2 wireless charging and Active Cooling 2.0 technology
Sharge's unique take on the magnetic power bank still has RGB and transparent elements in its latest iteration. However, it also looks more modern with top-mounted status LEDs and an integrated kickstand for more convenient content consumption or gaming on the go.
The power bank has upgraded to a USB-C port rated for up to 30W of power delivery (compared to 20W in the first-gen ICEMAG), rated to power a new iPhone by 50% in as little as 25 minutes via a cable.
Alternatively, the accessory can also use MagSafe charging when snapped onto the back of the same device - or use series-first Qi2 for the potential of 15W speeds as opposed to the 7.5W rate of yesteryear.
The brand asserts that it might indeed be able to do both at once thanks to the gadget's 10,000mAh rated capacity.
Sharge also claims to improve on the ICEMAG's cooling-as-you-charge selling point with the addition of a linear air intake to its spinning fan in its second generation.
The ICEMAG 2's pricing and availability will be revealed in November 2024; in the meantime, its predecessor is still around at $49.99 on Amazon right now.
