VoltaGo Max: New power bank supports 223 watts output power and Qi2, comes with a limited time discount
Volta is launching a new power bank, namely the VoltaGo Max, which utilizes Qi2 for particularly fast wireless charging of certain devices such as smartwatches or headphones. The maximum output power here is 15 watts. Measuring 21 x 9.5 x 2.7 centimeters and weighing 625 grams, the power bank supports a maximum output power of an impressive 223 watts, although this figure is only reached when using multiple outputs simultaneously.
Up to 140 watts can be output via one connection via USB PD 3.1, which means that not only smartphones can be charged particularly quickly, but also a MacBook Pro 16, making the power bank particularly suitable for laptops. A total of three USB-C ports and one USB- A port are available, whereby all four can be used simultaneously. For example, if a laptop is charged with 140 watts, another 20 and 45 watts can be output via USB-C and another 18 watts via USB-A.
Charging the power bank itself is said to be possible in 2.5 hours, whereby pass-through charging is supported, which means that devices attached to the power bank and the power bank itself can be charged at the same time. This is particularly useful if only one power adapter is available. The total capacity is stated as 27,000 mAh and Volta Designs claims that the storage cells can withstand more than 850 charges. The inbuilt OLED screen provides data on certain parameters, including temperature, input and output power and the predicted charging time.
Customers can currently still take advantage of early bird offers, namely a 40% discount.
