Seiko unveils two new limited-edition solar watches for its 2026 "Raise the Future" collection

As usual, Seiko is using the early months of 2026 to unveil mutliple new collections, like the latest light blue-dialled open heart chronographs. Now, another new 2026 "Raise the Future" collection is introducing two new references using radio-wave control solar technology and matching design profiles. Both the SBTM363 and the SSDY053 feature black sunray dials with silver Arabic numeral markers and a date window at the 3 o'clock position. The cases are constructed from stainless steel and are paired with black leather straps featuring contrast stitching. These models are designed to synchronize with radio signals for high chronological accuracy without any manual adjustment - powered entirely by ambient light.
Technical specs for the SBTM363 include a case measuring 37 mm in diameter, 8.7 mm in thickness, and a lug-to-lug distance of 43.6 mm. It operates on the 7B62 radio-sync solar calibre. This model is a limited edition of 800 units. The SSDY053 is a smaller iteration, with case dimensions of 28 mm in diameter, 8.3 mm in thickness, and a 34.6 mm lug-to-lug measurement. It utilizes the 1B21 radio-sync solar caliber and has an even smaller production run of 600 units.
Both models come equipped with sapphire crystals for increased scratch resistance and are rated for water resistance up to 10 bar (100 meters). The solid stainless steel case backs are engraved with "Limited Edition" and individual serial numbers. As radio-controlled solar watches, both movements include functions for overcharge prevention and automatic needle position alignment for long-term mechanical reliability and precision.
