Seiko launches 3 new solar-powered Prospex Speedtimer chronographs with V192 caliber

Seiko's new Prospex Speedtimer series consists of three differently dial colorways: silver (SSC961/SBDL125), salmon (SSC963/SBDL127), and green (SSC965/SBDL129). Unlike limited-edition releases, these models are categorized as standard additions to the Seiko lineup. The physical dimensions are uniform across all three references, with a case diameter of 39 mm, a thickness of 13.3 mm, and a lug-to-lug distance of 45.5 mm. The cases and bracelets are constructed from stainless steel.
The watches are driven by the Seiko V192 solar caliber. This movement is powered by light energy, so that means no battery replacements, and it maintains a 24-hour sub-dial and a 60-minute chronograph function. The dial layout features a three-register chronograph configuration with a date window positioned between the 4 and 5 o'clock indices. The bezel includes a tachymeter scale, the likes of which will remind you of Speedtimer's design lineage from the 1970s.
The watches feature curved sapphire crystals with anti-reflective coating on the inner surface. The fixed tachymeter bezel is finished in black (SSC961 and SSC963) or brushed steel (SSC965) to correspond with the respective dial designs. Each model is paired with a stainless steel bracelet featuring a three-fold clasp with a push-button release. The water resistance rating is maintained at 10 bar (100 meters), suitable for surface swimming but not professional diving.
