Seiko unveils limited-edition 5 Sports watch in collaboration with streetwear brand

Seiko has announced the launch of the SRPM09, a limited-edition collab watch with the streetwear brand HUF. The model is based on the Seiko 5 Sports "Field" series and takes inspiration from the 1970s "Time Sonar" series. Production is limited to 7,000 units worldwide, with 1,000 pieces allocated for the Japanese domestic market under the reference SBSA323. The watch is scheduled for release in March 2026.
HUF was founded in 2002 by professional skateboarder Keith Hufnagel as a lifestyle brand in the skateboarding and street culture scene. It was originally established as a curated retail shop, but it evolved into a global label known for its high-quality craftsmanship. The brand still has a lot of influence in the streetwear sector through collaborations such as this one.
The watch utilizes a 39.4 mm stainless steel case with a thickness of 11.6 mm and a lug-to-lug distance of 48.1 mm. The primary feature is a semi-transparent "HUF Green" dial that provides a view of the day and date wheels. The dial includes the "huf" logo at the 6 o'clock position and an orange-tipped seconds hand. The dial is protected by a Hardlex crystal, and the case is rated for 10 bar (100 meters) of water resistance.
Powering the SRPM09 is the automatic Caliber 4R36, which has a power reserve of approximately 41 hours and supports manual winding and hacking. The exhibition case back is tinted in the same signature green as the dial and features a graphic inspired by San Francisco, where the HUF brand was founded. The watch is paired with a stainless steel bracelet with a 20 mm lug width and comes in a specialized HUF-branded tin with a cleaning cloth.
