The Samsung Galaxy F series recently kicked off as a new line of this OEM's mobile devices. To date, its current or projected models are slightly repurposed Galaxy M smartphones marketed with an emphasis on mobile photography. Now, new rumors suggest another is on the way soon.
Ishan Agarwal has released a tip through 91Mobiles that it will be called the SM-E625F, or Galaxy F62. It is said to launch in 2021, although the respected leaker did not have any more information on it at the time. Now, however, there may be more details on it.
A device with the model number allegedly corresponding to this "F62" has materialized on the Geekbench 5 webiste. Oddly, the specs detected for this putative phone include the Exynos 9825, a 2019 flagship processor from Samsung.
This detail may compromise the leak slightly, although Samsung has used older silicon in newer phones before. The SM-E625F also apparently has 6GB of RAM and will run an OS based on Android 11. Should this really be the F62, it is currently touted to launch in India to start off with.
