Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy M62 exists, and that it will be released for the first time on March 3, 2021. It will do so through Lazada in the Malaysian market. The OEM has revealed that it will have the same 7,000mAh battery as its rumored alternate form, the F62.

The Galaxy F62 finally launched in India earlier in February 2021 as Samsung's latest "battery monster" phone. It is rumored to have an M-series version with largely the same specs, although this has never been confirmed outright. Now, Samsung has finally offered a sign of its existence by supplying a date for its debut in Malaysia.

The Galaxy M62 is thought to have the same specs as the F62, which is powered by the Exynos 9825 processor and has a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display. Then again, Samsung has yet to confirm this outright prior to its first launch. On the other hand, as it is now being teased in terms of its huge 7,000mAh battery, the rest of it will probably fall in line with its probable F-series twin.

Similarly, the OEM will hold off on its cost to Malaysian customers until its debut on Lazada. Then again, should it be anywhere around the F62's Indian price of around US$330, it might prove attractive indeed in the country.
