The tech blog MySmartPrice claims to have found a new page on Samsung India's support website for a device called the "SM-E025F/DS". A quick decoding of Samsung's model number convention does seem to suggest a new phone that, moreover, belongs to a whole new Galaxy E series. Then again, this leak has yet to be officially confirmed.

MySmartPrice has posted what it claims is an official support page for a phone called the Galaxy E02 (or SM-E025F/DS) that, as it now predicts, will launch in India soon. The mystery model number could indeed translate to a device of this name that is, moreover, dual-SIM in nature.

Therefore, it does look like Samsung intends to resurrect the long-defunct Galaxy E series in 2021 for this market. Should this leak prove accurate, the "new" series might thus fall even below the F-series in terms of price and specs.

Then again, on that note, the Galaxy F62 did initially leak as the SM-E625F; therefore, this putative new phone might in fact debut as the F02 instead. This could well make it a re-brand of the pre-existing M02, as the F62 is effectively the M62 for the Indian market.

Therefore, the "E/F02" could indeed emerge as an extremely affordable 6.5-inch HD+ display smartphone with 2 to 3GB of RAM, albeit perhaps with strategic tweaks, most likely in the camera department. On the other hand, the M02 is already available on the Indian market, and Samsung has yet to publicly acknowledge anything like a re-brand for it.
