MagyarSamsung unveils Galaxy E5 and Galaxy E7 Android smartphones
After multiple rumors, including leaks that revealed most detailed specs of these two Android smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy E7 and Galaxy E5 are finally official. The official press release describes them as "powerful and compact smartphones that offer a superior viewing and best selfie experience to young customers." Both will debut on the Indian market, but no details on pricing and availability are public yet.
Samsung Galaxy E7 and Galaxy E5 have a lot of specs and features in common, as revealed by the latest leaks. These are their highlights:
- Processor: 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410
- Memory/Storage: 2 GB RAM (Galaxy E7) and 1.5 GB RAM (Galaxy E5); 16 GB internal storage and microSD support up to 64 GB
- Display: 5.5-inch Super AMOLED with 1,280X720 pixels (Galaxy E7) and 5-inch Super AMOLED with 1,280X720 pixels (Galaxy E5)
- Cameras: 5 MP front, 13 MP back (E7) and 5 MP front, 8 MP back (E5)
- Connectivity: WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB 2.0, GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS
- Operating system: Android 5.0 Lollipop
- Battery: 2950 mAh (E7) and 2400 mAh (E5)
- Dimensions: 5.96X3.04X0.29 inches (E7) and 5.57X2.76X0.29 inches (E5)
The front camera of both phones allows capture of selfies that cover angles up to 120 degrees, while the Adaptive Display technology automatically adjusts brightness and color saturation of the screen depending on ambient lighting.
