Samsung teases imminent launch of Galaxy Tab S10 series by opening reservations
If you're in India, you can officially pre-reserve a Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 model. With this, the company has also hinted at when the new Android tablets will launch. There's a countdown on the reservation page, which will end in seven days and a couple of hours. That means the new series could be fully unveiled on September 25.
We couldn't find the same page for the official US online store, so it seems that pre-reservations are only up for the Indian market now. Interestingly, the pre-reservation for the Galaxy Tab S10 series is also open on other platforms in the country, including Amazon India and Flipkart.
Beyond the possible launch date, the pre-reservation page has also given us a glimpse of what the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra could look like. The graphic shows a tablet with a notch, which matches the leaked renders from June. Samsung also mentions that the S Pen will only be available with select models.
That suggests the S Pen may only be bundled with the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra and S10+. For reference, all the Galaxy Tab S9 models, including the standard S9, had the stylus in the box. However, Samsung mentions that getting an S Pen with one of the new Android tablets is a pre-reservation perk. So, it's unclear if any of the regular retail units will have a stylus inside the box.
Another thing worth noting is that those who pre-reserve the new Android tablets will get a free 45W travel charger (UGREEN Nexode Pro 65W curr. $47.59 on Amazon). This hints that the upcoming Galaxy Tab S10 series may not see an upgrade in terms of the charging speed. But again, all these are speculations, and unless Samsung confirms these details, nothing is set in stone.
