Philips Hue launches new upgraded Fugato smart spotlights
A new version of the Philips Hue Fugato spotlight has arrived in Europe. As with the original model, customers are offered versions with one, two, three or four spotlights mounted on the same base, with a white or black metallic casing.
The difference between the latest Fugato spotlight and its predecessor is found in the GU10 LED light source. Philips has improved its GU10 bulb, bringing a higher level of brightness to the smart spotlight. For comparison, the new model has 400 lumens brightness at 4,000K, but the original peaked at 350 lumens. On top of this, the updated product is expected to last for 25,000 hours, 10,000 hours longer than the older variant.
As with other Philips Hue smart lights, you can control the Fugato through the app or with voice commands, linking up to 10 products; if you use the Hue Bridge, you can simultaneously control up to 50 smart home devices. The Philips Hue Fugato single spotlight, double spotlight and triple spotlight can be purchased in Europe for £84.99/€99.99, £159.99/€189.99 and £219.99/€259.99, respectively. A quadruple version is also available in the EU, priced at €299.99.
