Deal | Samsung Odyssey Ark deal takes 55-inch Mini LED gaming monitor below US$2,000 in 43% sale

Amazon and Samsung have heavily discounted the Odyssey Ark gaming monitor in the US. Launched in August 2022, the Odyssey Ark is a 55-inch gaming monitor with a matte finish and an adjustable stand. While a matte finish remains uncommon among gaming monitors, its Quantum Mini LEDs help deliver 600 nits full surface peak brightness and 1,000 nits peak brightness.

The Odyssey Ark also has a 1000R curvature, a 3,840 x 2,160-pixel native resolution and a 165 Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the monitor has AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support to minimise image tearing, HDMI 2.1 connectivity and a USB hub, among other ports. Currently, Amazon and Samsung have reduced the Odyssey Ark to US$1,999.99. In other words, the pair have discounted the gaming monitor by 43% and US$1,500 from its Amazon list price. For reference, Samsung claims to sell the Odyssey Ark for US$2,999.99 when off-sale. Incidentally, Amazon US recently took the gaming monitor down to US$2,299.99, although no past Amazon US deal has reduced the Odyssey Ark as heavily.
