Evleaks is at it again with supposedly official renders of the yet unannounced Samsung flagships with Gold and Black color options.

The often reliable Evleaks is no stranger to publishing renders of smartphones ahead of their official announcements. The Galaxy Note 5, for example, was leaked through Twitter before it was shown to the public. History is repeating itself once again with the supposedly final renders of the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge as shown below.

The images show the 5.1-inch Galaxy S7 as well as the 5.5-inch Galaxy S7 Edge. In terms of design, they do not appear to have any significant deviations from the current Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge series. The source, however, states that both will be waterproof and sport MicroSD slots, though neither are obvious based on the leaked renders. The main camera is expected to be "only" 12 MP with a larger sensor for better photos in dimly lit conditions.

As for the internal hardware, the flagships should be carrying either the new Snapdragon 820 SoC or the Exynos 8890 depending on region. Evleaks is also claiming that battery life should handily outlast its predecessors, which we found to be average on our tests.

Both of the new Samsung smartphones are expected to be revealed this coming February 21st at MWC 2016. The manufacturer recently revealed the budget and mainstream J1, A3, and A5 smartphones with the 2016 J5 coming soon.
