Samsung has started teasing the Galaxy F13, a smartphone that turned up in April on Geekbench. As the image below shows, the Galaxy F13 will be available in three colours with a design that resembles recent Galaxy A and Galaxy M series devices. Additionally, the Galaxy F13 has a 1080p display, unlike the Galaxy M13.
Similarly, Samsung states that the Galaxy F13 has a 6,000 mAh battery, a 1,000 mAh larger capacity than the battery in the Galaxy M13. Moreover, the Galaxy F13 has 8 GB of RAM, or so Samsung claims. In fact, the Galaxy F13 has 8 GB of RAM with 'RAM Plus', a marketing name for virtual RAM or a page file. Based on April's Geekbench listing, the Galaxy F13 has 4 GB of physical RAM.
Separately, Samsung is expected to have equipped the Galaxy F13 with an Exynos 850 chipset, a budget 4G chipset that Samsung also uses in the Galaxy A13. Samsung will announce the Galaxy F13 on June 22 in India at 12:00 IST (06:30 UTC). Pricing and availability in other markets have not emerged yet, though.
