A new report says Samsung plans to bring back the Galaxy Book6 Ultra this generation. While its specs aren't known, it will likely pair an Intel Arrow Lake CPU with an Nvidia Blackwell GPU.

The previous-gen Galaxy Book series only launched with a regular and Pro variant. Given that they exclusively used Intel's Lunar Lake processors that don't have dGPU support, the lack of an Ultra model makes sense because, historically, that would always come with an dedicated GPU. Sammobile has learned that Samsung plans to bring the Ultra model this generation.

It will probably launch as the Galaxy Book6 Ultra. While its specs are unknown, it would be reasonable to assume they'd use Intel's Arrow Lake-H processors with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 series graphics card. That should offer a decent performance uplift over the Galaxy Book4 Ultra that featured Intel Meteor Lake and GeForce RTX 40 series GPUs.

Our in-depth Galaxy Book4 Ultra review praised it for its colour-accurate OLED screen, robust chassis and good connectivity/expansion options. However, the screen suffered from PWM flickering at a noticeable frequency, which could potentially affect sensitive users. Wi-Fi 7 was also absent, but that will likely be included with the Galaxy Book6 Ultra.

At the time of writing, there's no telling when the new laptop will launch. The Galaxy Book4 Ultra was unveiled in December 2024, but the Galaxy Book5 series surfaced in September 2025 to coincide with Intel's Lunar Lake launch. There's also a non-zero possibility of the Galaxy Book6 Ultra launching next year alongside Intel's next-gen Panther Lake CPUs in 2026. However, that might not happen if Panther Lake lacks dGPU support, and we don't know if it does.
