Exclusive | Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 design highlighted by new leak
One of Samsung's upcoming Lunar Lake powered laptops, the Galaxy Book 5 Pro, showed up a few days ago on SiSoft's benchmark database. Its specific SKU is unknown, but is likely one that ends in '6' because of its 16 GB of on-package LPDDR5-8533 RAM. A reputable source, who requested to be anonymous, has graciously provided us with an image of its flexible version, the Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360.
Design-wise, it doesn't seem to be too different from its predecessor (Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360). That is apparent by the alignment of its two USB-C (likely Thunderbolt 4.0) ports and HDMI 2.1 port. Samsung also seems to have kept the same keyboard design on the Galxy Book 5 Pro 360. In essence, it is shaping up to be an incremental upgrade over its predecessor. That said, there is a chance one of the Windows key being replaced with the new Copilot button, given Lunar Lake has a powerful enough NPU power to qualify as a Windows Copilot-certified PC.
Other specs, such as its 120 Hz AMOLED screen and 76 Wh battery, will likely be identical. Our review chastised the Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360 for its poor battery runtimes, which should ideally get better with Lunar Lake's added power efficiency benefits. As far as a tentative launch date goes, one can expect Samsung to unveil the Galaxy Book Pro 360 alongside Intel Lunar Lake CPUs on September 3.
