The Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 (SD710) is a fast mid-range ARM-based SoC largely found on Android tablets and smartphones. Announced in early 2018, the SD710 is the first of the 700 series and positions itself between the 600 series (e.g. Snapdragon 660) and 800 series (e.g. Snapdragon 845). It integrates 8 Kryo 360 cores devided in two big cores (most likely based on Cortex-A75 at up to 2.2 GHz) and six small cores (most likely based on Coretx-A55 at up to 1.7 GHz). The memory controller supports LPDDR4X and the integrated graphics card is called Adreno 616. The X15 LTE modem supports 4x4 MIMO with up to 800 MBbit/s download and 150 MBit/s upload.
Compared to the older Snapdragon 660, Qualcomm advertises the CPU clusters to be up to 20% faster and the GPU up to 35 %.
The Snapdragon 710 is manufactured in the modern 10 nm process at Samsung (10LPP).
The Mediatek Helio G70 is a mainstream ARM SoC for smartphones (mainly Android based) that was introduced in 2020. It is manufactured in a 12 nm FinFET process and integrates 8 CPU cores. Two fast ARM Cortex-A75 cores with up to 2 GHz for performance tasks and six small ARM Cortex-A55 with up to 1.7 GHz for efficiency. All eight cores can be used together thanks to Heterogeneous Multi-Processing support. The integrated GPU is a ARM Mali-G52 MC2 (MP2) with two clusters at up to 820 MHz. The SoC also integrates the HyperEngine that handles a dynamic management of CPU, GPU and memory.
Compared to the slightly faster Helio G80, the difference to the G70 is the slightly lower clock speed for the A55 cores (-100 MHz) and GPU (-130 MHz).
The SoC integrates furthermore a LTE radio with Cat-7 (download) / Cat-13 (upload) support, Wifi 5 (ac), Bluetooth 5.0, LPDDR4x 1800 MHz and eMMC 5.1 storage.
The Mediatek Helio G88 is a mainstream ARM SoC for smartphones (mainly Android based) that was introduced in 2020. It is manufactured in a 12 nm FinFET process and integrates 8 CPU cores. Two fast ARM Cortex-A75 cores with up to 2 GHz for performance tasks and six small ARM Cortex-A55 with up to 1.8 GHz for efficiency (unverified, maybe also 2 GHz). All eight cores can be used together thanks to Heterogeneous Multi-Processing support. The integrated GPU is a ARM Mali-G52 MC2 (MP2) with two clusters at up to 1000 MHz (up from 950 MHz from the otherwise similar Helio G80). The SoC also integrates the HyperEngine that handles a dynamic management of CPU, GPU and memory. Compared to the older Helio G85, the G88 now supports 90 Hz displays and features version 2.0 of the HyperEngine.
The SoC integrates furthermore a LTE radio with Cat-7 (download) / Cat-13 (upload) support, Wifi 5 (ac), Bluetooth 5.0, LPDDR4x 1800 MHz and eMMC 5.1 storage.
