The Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 (SDM636) is a mid-range octa-core SoC with eight custom Kryo 260 cores at up to 1.8 GHz, an Adreno 509 GPU, a LPDDR4-2666 memory controller (1333 MHz) and a X12 LTE (Cat 12/13, 300 Mbps down, 150 Mbps up) modem. Furthermore, the chip supports 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0. It is manufactured in 14nm FinFet. Qualcomm states a 40% faster performance compared to the old Snapdragon 630 (8x ARM Cortex-A53).
The Unisoc Tangula T700 (former Spreadtrum) is an entry level octa core SoC with two fast ARM Cortex A75 cores at up to 1.8 GHz and six power efficient ARM Cortex A55 cores at up to 1.8 GHz. The SoC furthermore includes a LTE modem (TDD-LTE, FDD-LTE, TDSCDMA, WCDMA, CDMA, GSM), an ARM Mali G52MP2 GPU and a tri core ISP. Furthermore, the T700 supports 90 Hz displays.
The Unisoc Tiger T616 (former Spreadtrum) is an entry level octa core SoC with two fast ARM Cortex A75 cores at up to 2 GHz and six power efficient ARM Cortex A55 cores at up to 1.8 GHz. The SoC furthermore includes an LTE modem (TDD-LTE, FDD-LTE, TDSCDMA, WCDMA, CDMA, GSM), a LPDDR4x 1866 MHz memory controller and an ARM Mali G57MP1 GPU (750 MHz max) and a dual core ISP (24 and 8 MPixel support). The chip is manufactured at TSMC in 12nm FinFET.
