Rogbid has just launched a new smartwatch model, the Titan S, which is advertised as a particularly robust, military-style wearable. The smartwatch, available in black and silver, comes with a 50% discount at launch.
The Titan S will initially be available via Rogbid's own online store for just $39.99, half of the RRP of $79.99. However, these prices should be viewed with some skepticism since the RRP is probably the inflated price, whereas the discounted price is more likely to be closer to the actual market value. Both colors come with two straps: one made of stainless steel (black and silver) and one made of silicone (black and orange).
As previously mentioned, the Rogbid's Titan S is a rugged, military-style smartwatch that supposedly has MIL-STD 810H certification, making it resistant to extreme temperatures and providing protection against drops, among other things. It is also water-resistant up to a level of 3 ATM.
The plastic and metal alloy casing houses a generous 2.01-inch IPS display with a curved surface, allowing the large smartwatch to fit more comfortably on the wrist. Under the hood is a 400 mAh battery, with Rogbid promising up to 10 days of normal use. What exactly "normal use" means is unclear.
Also unclear is how the health measurements for heart rate, blood oxygen levels, stress and sleep work. Over 100 sports modes, smartphone notifications, and a small flashlight integrated into the side of the crown round off the Rogbid Titan S's features.
