New details about Xiaomi's next fitness tracker have appeared online after its initial emergence earlier this week. To recap, XpertPick published numerous device images of what it referred to as the Smart Band 10. Now, it seems that the same smartwatch has surfaced in separate leaks.
To start with, an unreleased smartwatch bearing the model number M2501W1 has now been listed on Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) and Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) databases in Russia and Singapore, respectively. While neither refer to device's retail name, they indicate that Xiaomi is considering offering M2501W1 internationally. Taken on their own, both listings do not reveal much.
However, their appearance alongside the first batch of leaked promotional images suggests that the launch of the Smart Band 10 will soon be upon us. Not only that, but Xiaomi will be bringing its Smart Band 9 successor (curr. $58.99 on Amazon) to global audiences rather than confining it to a Chinese release.
Seemingly, Xiaomi will be offering the Smart Band 10 in several styles, all with a larger AMOLED display than its predecessor. One leaked promotional image mentions that the Smart Band 10 will provide 'enhanced sleep management' tools, too. Unfortunately, the full extent of these and how they will differ from those that the Smart Band 9 provides remain unclear for the time being, as does a release date and launch pricing.
